The document code
Every ET-Docs document has a stable identifier of the form ET-NNNNL-YY (for example ET-0297A-24). The code stays the same across every release of the document; the letter after the number indicates the release (A, B, C, ...).
Releases
A release is a versioned snapshot of this document. The current release keeps its files and metadata for citation and audit. Creating a new release opens a fresh working copy where you can upload revised files and edit the metadata; earlier releases stay readable but become read-only. Every release keeps the same document code and appears in the Releases tab below.
Files
Each release carries a main file (the primary document itself) and any number of annex files (supporting material). Files are stored on-server and served only to users whose group membership permits access to this document.
Access-level combinations
Every document is tagged with one or more access-level combinations (for example CB, ETC, EIB). You can only see a document if at least one of its combinations matches one of your group memberships. Documents you can't see are hidden from every listing and direct-URL access is refused.
Editorial-Committee review
Documents that need formal sign-off can be submitted for EC review using the Submit for EC review button. The Editorial Committee triages the submission, assigns reviewers (with optional backups), tracks deadlines, and issues the final decision. Reviewers receive automatic reminders. The full policy is document ET-0297-24.
